SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to dust collector (1) for a vacuum cleaner, wherein the dust collector comprises a dust collection bag (5) made from air-permeable material, and connecting plate (3) surrounding hole (9) of the dust collection bag (5). Connecting plate (3) is designed so that the connecting plate moves with sliding into the vacuum cleaner holder for right hole (9) positioning. Connecting plate (3) has central part (11) surrounding hole (9), and extending part (13) protruding from the central part. Extending part (13) has less bending stiffness than central part around axis perpendicular to direction in which it is inserted. Thus, extending part can be bent beyond the plane of central part and bend without bending of central part, which facilitates arrangement of connecting plate in container of vacuum cleaner with curved inner walls.

EFFECT: disclosed is a dust collector for vacuum cleaner.
