FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for recovery of springs at transport, agricultural machinery, load lifting or other equipment repair enterprises. Method includes expansion of spring on mandrel with pitch of turns exceeding step pitch of finished spring, heating, tempering and cooling, shot blast hardening, spring release at temperature ≤220 °C for 30 minutes and spring pressing.
EFFECT: enlarging technological capabilities, improving quality of springs from pre-strengthened wire, in particular, patented or tempered and tempered spring wire.
