FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compressor building and can be used in piston compressors to increase their efficiency and reliability. Compressor contains cylinder fitted therein to form compression chamber, piston, suction and discharge valves. On the piston there is a resilient disk made of a heat-resistant elastomer material and rigidly fixed to the piston end face. On the side of the compression chamber between the external surface of the piston and the inner surface of the cylinder there formed is a cavity designed to prevent the deformable part of the elastic disc from cutting off against the wall of the piston. Rim is rounded by radius R.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of compressor due to use of piston, on end of which there is a resilient disk, which allows full contact of piston and valve plate, completely eliminating linear dead space.
