FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: piston compressor contains a cylinder, a cover with suction and discharge valves. In the cylinder there is a piston with piston rings made of self-lubricating materials intended for sealing the working chamber. In the cylinder head, in front of the discharge valve, into the groove with a radius R1 the ribs are installed. The ribs are perpendicular to the end of the lid facing the working chamber of the piston compressor. The fins are hemispherical and are made of radius R thickness δ from metal plates.
EFFECT: by eliminating finning over the entire inner surface of the cylinder, reducing the fin area, the presence of piston rings, the invention makes it possible to reduce gas leaks, increase heat transfer from the gas to the walls of the working chamber during the injection process, and reduce the dead volume in the compressor chamber.
