FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control and measuring equipment, in particular to methods and devices for monitoring condition of electric circuits (internal wiring and cable connections) of complex technical items, including items of weapons and military equipment. Method is based on application of a control device including a portable computer, to which test signal register inputs and outputs of the response signal register are connected. Outputs of register of test signals with the help of the first process harness are connected to contacts of the support connector, and inputs of response signal register with the help of second process harness are connected in turns to contacts of mating connectors, connection of which with support connector is to be checked. Prior to control of electric circuits, data of private connection tables of control object connectors with conjugated connectors, as well as control direction program, are entered into computer memory. During the control process, the computer, by the control program, sets alternately the digits of the test signal register to the "1" state. Electric signals from outputs of digits of the register of test signals, which are set to state "1", pass through electric circuits from the specified contact of the reference connector to electrically connected contacts of the conjugated connector and further to inputs of corresponding bits of the register of response signals. Computer reads the status of the digits of the response signal register, compares them with the data of the private connection table, evaluates the state of the monitored electrical circuits and the presence of defects. Control cycle is repeated until checking electrical connections of all contacts of the specified reference connector with contacts of all conjugated connectors specified in the separate table of connections of the reference connector of the monitoring object.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of monitoring electrical circuits of complex technical items.
