FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science, in particular to veterinary microbiology and represents an agent for preventing bacterial carry-over of Salmonella microorganisms in agricultural poultry, including mannan-oligosaccharides, water-soluble yeast biomass proteins, water-soluble yeast biomass glucosaccharides, an enzyme with β-glucanase activity, characterized by that it additionally contains feed chalk and water, wherein the agent is introduced in amount of 2.0–2.4 % of the fodder weight, once a day, for 28–30 days.
EFFECT: invention provides a wider range of products for preventing bacterial carry-over of Salmonella microorganisms in agricultural poultry, reduced level of bacterial population of carcasses in agricultural poultry and possesses pronounced sorption activity with respect to microorganisms of genus Salmonella 2,5 times higher than prototype preparation.
