FIELD: locks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for stacking of materials, specifically to clamping devices of rope slings. Locking device comprises housing in form of holder and gate. Gate has vertically oriented bevel, and the locking device additionally contains a cylinder, which performs the function of wedging when moving along the bevel of lock in a holder. Gate bevel angle is not more than 10°. Movement of the locking device can occur due to friction force when lifting the load or by impact physical force applied manually to the upper end face of the gate.
EFFECT: achieving fixation of rope slings, which does not allow rope slings to loosen cargo fastening by means of locking device for self-tightening rope slings providing such fixation.
