FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting-and-conveying machinery, particularly, to straps and their component parts. Axial force is applied by press to wedge fitted into bush with safety ledges preventing its falling out. Said force exceeds that of adhesion between wedge and bush and metal rope or cable. Wedge is pushed in bush to clamp metal cable or rope therein. Push force is distributed between press elements. Press first element interact with bush while second elements interacts with wedge.
EFFECT: ruled out damage of long cargo pile.
