FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to active and passive location and can be used for high-accuracy determination of current coordinates of enemy artillery in the interests of effective counter-battery fighting. Tactical and engineering properties of the area are taken into account. Time costs are compared for a cycle of analysis and control of artillery fire of the counter-battery fighting and time costs for folding and leaving the position area with enemy artillery. Monitoring means are combined using the unmanned aerial survey aircraft. In order to reduce time expenditures at the preparatory stage, analysis of suitability of elementary areas of the area of information collection area is carried out for passing of various classes of artillery and possibility of deployment of artillery units of different level.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining current coordinates of enemy artillery.
