FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical instrument making, in particular to methods and devices for chromatographic analysis of substances in gas and / or vapor mixtures and can be used for determination of microimpurities. Method of gas-chromatographic analysis of microimpurities of substances in gas includes feeding analysed gas into a concentrating column, concentration of trace impurities on the sorbent, chromatographic separation in an analytical column in an inert gas stream and detection of separated components, all steps being carried out in isothermal mode, and concentration of microimpurity in a concentrating column is carried out to a stage of equilibrium and then is supplied for chromatographic separation and device for realizing said method, comprising lines for feeding analysed gas and carrier gas, rotary gas tap – flow switch, concentrating column filled with sorbent, an analytical column, a detector, a thermostat in which there is a gas tap and an analytical column, a rotary gas tap – flow switch is made in the form of a dual-mode dispenser cock connected in a concentration mode with the analysed gas supply line, and in analysis mode with carrier gas line, in the thermostat there is additionally a concentrating column made in the form of analytical column piece.
