SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control valve for installation of a flow cross-section in a pipeline, primarily for high-dynamic adjustment of the amount of cooling agent in sections of cooling of rolling mills. Adjusting valve for installation of flow cross-section in one pipeline, primarily for high-dynamic adjustment of amount of cooling agent in cooling sections of rolling mills, contains one throttle element, wherein the geometrical shape of each throttle element determines the control valve flow curve, one valve seat, as well as an actuator drive configured to change the position of each throttling element. Actuator comprises linear motor linear synchronous linear motor. Linear motor has a coil unit and a permanent magnet unit. Coil unit is stationary. Permanent magnet unit is arranged on rod-shaped control element of throttle element and is made in the form of integrated component part of this control element, wherein throttling element is directly connected to control element. Linear motor has position control.

EFFECT: creation of adjusting valve for installation of flow cross-section in pipeline, first of all, for high-dynamic adjustment of the amount of cold water at cooling sections of rolling mills, which has a reproducible actuation characteristic, short reaction time and high accuracy of positioning.
