SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Strain of bacteria Pseudomonas deceptionensis ARC 44, capable of decomposition of oil and oil products, is deposited in the All-Russian Collection of Industrial Microorganisms under registration number VKPM B-13090.
EFFECT: bacterial strain Pseudomonas deceptionensis VKPM B-13090 makes it possible to increase the degree of purification of water areas of water bodies, shoreline from pollution by oil and oil products at temperature from +20 to -2½ °C and salinity 30±10 g/l in nutrient-poor conditions.
