FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industry which produces expanding cements, used, for example, for fixing anchors in mine workings, in construction of underground structures, for waterproofing and for other purposes. Method of producing expanding cement mixture by co-grinding of its components, characterized by that components used are wastes from production – slag of carbon-free ferrochromium, gypsum-containing sludge from production of pigments and spent electrolyte is carried out in two steps – at the first stage slag of carbon-free ferrochromium and gypsum-containing sludge is treated in a bead mill with spent electrolyte at temperature t=80…90 °C to pH=7…8 and simultaneously in it is crushed to particle size 30…40 mqm, after completion of steam extraction, suspension is supplied to intermediate reservoir, and from it by pump – to second stage – to combined drier of "boiling bed", where suspension is dried at temperature t=130…140 °C and pH=9…10 for 30…40 minutes, simultaneously, at that, is ground to particle size 3…5 mcm, then produced expanding cement mixture is stored in hopper.
EFFECT: low cost of the process, improved environmental friendliness and high strength of the cured mixture.
