FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sorbents for selective extraction of gold ions. Proposed method comprises two-step amination of chloromethylated porous copolymers of styrene by polyethylene polyamine with divinylbenzene with macro- and mesoporous structure with prevailing mesopores in range of 3–10 nm. Amination is carried out in 2 steps: first holding 20 °C for 24 hours, then held at 70 °C for 3 hours. Solvents used are toluene or 1,4-dioxane. Obtained product is washed successively with isopropyl alcohol and water till neutral pH.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a sorbent for extracting gold with high selectivity.
