FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: process for ion exchanger preparation includes diethylenetriamine aminolysis of a porous copolymer of acrylonitrile, divinylbenzene, styrene, and ethylstyrene, synthesized by suspension copolymerization of a mixture composed of the above monomers, a blowing agent, a copolymerization initiator, and subsequent introduction of carboxyl groups. For introduction of these groups, the resulting anion is treated with the monochloroacetic acid sodium salt, taken at a molar ratio of 0.05-0.15 to the number of primary amino groups in the ion exchanger. Compared with to the prototype, the extent of gold from a saturated ion exchanger is increased to 97-99%, while the desorption solution volume can be reduced 10 times.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of ion exchanger regeneration.
