FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to window or door fittings and is intended to limit free opening of window/door to safe distance. Lock-limiter of opening with cable comprises main unit with locking mechanism, which is fixed in lower part of movable window shutter, as well as an additional unit in the form of a metal holder with a fixed end of the steel multicore cable in the plastic casing, which is mounted on the window frame, and rod stock bore of main unit includes rod, comprising a tip with fastening for cable, cylindrical surface with circular groove. In the button hole with the main unit housing neck there is a locking mechanism which includes a control button, on which a stroke limiter is installed, a circular groove for fixation in the housing by a locking ring and a transverse groove for fixation with the boss of the lower insert, wherein lower insert enters control button and comprises slots for key installation, shaped ledge to interact with retainer, retainer is installed on lodgement covers and has inclined cutout for interaction with shaped ledge of lower insert, vertical spring for pressing the locking mechanism is installed between the lug of the cover and the lower insert, the horizontal retainer spring is installed on the lug of the cover for automatic fixation of the rod position, wherein the retainer radius recess enters the rod circular groove and fixes it.

EFFECT: technical problem consists in simplification of design, improvement of reliability and convenience of operation at maintaining high efficiency of protection against opening by children from inside and penetration into the room from outside, as well as possibility of transfer and operation of window in room ventilation position.
