FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a well treatment composition containing a compound with a rare-earth element, which contains one or more of the following elements: scandium, yttrium, lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, promethium, samarium, lutetium, europium, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, thulium or ytterbium; wherein the well treatment composition is a cement suspension, a drilling fluid or a buffer liquid. Also disclosed are methods of well bore cementing, methods of displacement of the first fluid and methods of borehole drilling in underground formation using cement suspension, buffer fluid or drilling mud. Invention is developed in dependent claims.
