FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to urology, and can be used for treating cavernous tuberculosis of the prostate. Antituberculous polychemotherapy is performed. Additionally, cavern opening is performed by means of transurethral electric resection with subsequent coagulation of cavern wall with radiation of high-power diode laser with wavelength 940 nm and power 150 W.
EFFECT: method provides sanitation of prostate cavern and interruption of pathological infectious-inflammatory process in cavern wall due to application of laser radiation.
