Ultrasonic transducer is introduced into the rectum at a depth of 5 cm. Transverse ultrasonic prostate cross-section image is built. Vaporization begins at the middle lobe of the prostate. Lateral lobes are vaporized at the end. One area is left for treating another one when 6 mm deep segment appears on the sonogram all over the surface under evaporation.
