SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tuning of musical instruments with fixed scale, in particular pianoforte. Method of adjusting harmonic temperature is characterized by that pre-tuned sound "A¹" by tuning fork, then each sound is adjusted with large thirds and sexts by means of control of the harmonic beat pattern with the number of beats specified in the table of mathematical calculation of beat number of intervals, and arranged in scale according to harmonic pattern of beats of intervals with beat increase; test intervals of minor third and sixth are arranged in scale by harmonic pattern of beats with increase of beats, according to mathematical calculation of beat number of intervals on table of beat numbers. Adjustment of the harmonic structure is carried out by tuning the upper and lower octaves in a chromatic order, each tuned octave sound is checked for purity of consonances of fifths and quarts.

EFFECT: thus purity of consonance of fifths and quarts, as well as more accurate division of Pythagorean comm.
