FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method is provided for detecting a coil position for a non-contact power supply system configured to supply power from coil (12) for transmitting power on the side of the earth to coil (22) for receiving power on the side of the vehicle, through which the position of coil (22) for receiving power. Output contact leads of rectifier circuit (53) configured to rectify AC power received by coil (22) for receiving power are connected to actuation circuit (50) and accumulator (27). Besides, relay switch (26) is provided between accumulator (27) and one of output terminals of rectifier circuit (53). When relay switch (26) is on, coil position is detected based on alternating voltage determined by first voltmeter (51) provided before rectifier circuit (53), and when relay switch (26) is off, coil position is detected based on DC voltage determined by second voltmeter (52) provided after rectifier circuit (53).
EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of accurate alignment of transmitting and receiving inductance coils without relay switching during alignment.
