SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to beds, and can be used for care of patients or for care of invalids, for example, as hospital beds or as beds used in house conditions. Medical bed comprises a frame with bed lifting base, having self-orienting wheels, which are connected by bolt fixture with supports of bed lifting base, wherein bed includes three moving sections – back, intermediate and foot, having drive lever supports, and one central fixed section of bed, interconnected by bolt fixture, wherein for adjustment of moving bed sections device comprises mechanical drives, wherein the spinal section adjusting drive is connected by means of the bolt joint to the frame and to the lever drive support being the welded element on the back section of the bed, drive for adjustment of intermediate and foot section of bed is connected by means of bolted connection to frame and with lever drive support, which is a welded element on intermediate section of bed, each mechanical drive has housing, in which there is a retractable handle with installed on it handle, wherein the handle extension mechanism is implemented by the slot limiting its stroke and made in the body, the latter, in its turn, is conjugated with the shaft, and on the shaft there is a nut with spring-loaded retainers, which interact with sleeves welded into the pipe, and bushings fixed on the shaft, wherein for the drive installation on the bed in the drive housing the bolts are screwed in, and the pipe is connected to the lug of the corresponding movable section of the bed.

EFFECT: use of the proposed bed makes it possible to reduce the time of bringing the cradle beds into the required position.
