FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to vehicle seat and, in particular, to ambient functional illumination of vehicle seat. Vehicle seat assembly includes a seat having a base including peripheral side projections located on the first and second sides of the seat. Seat cushion is located on base and includes two independent supports for hips, which extend forward above base and form front ledge. Seat back is functionally connected to seat and includes upper and lower sections. Lower section comprises seat backrest pad and seat back support. Peripheral cavity of seat back is located on the first and the second sides of the lower section between the backrest pad and the backrest support. Plurality of zones are formed on seat and back. Each zone is configured to transmit information to a passenger, comprises light sources made integral as a unit of said seat, and is independent.
EFFECT: increased ease of use.
