FIELD: vehicle lighting systems.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle lighting device comprises a lighting device located on the vehicle, a proximity sensor and a controller. Proximity sensor is configured to detect proximity of the non-contact device worn by the passenger. Controller is configured to identify approach and removal of passenger, based on detected proximity, and controlling the lighting device to output the first light emission in response to the approximation and the second emission in response to the removal.
EFFECT: illumination for reading, vehicle enter and control is achieved.
