SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital computer systems for determining quality indicators of compared complex systems, apparatus and articles with a plurality of different values. Device provides switching of information on single indicators of compared protection means, its normalization, determination of average statistical values of quality parameters, construction of a rating scale taking into account the projections of the radius vectors of the points of the quality indicators of the examined means on the evaluation scale and determining the values of the ratios of these projections to the value of the projection of the point with unit coordinates, providing, during such data processing, a complex assessment of the quality of selected protection means with determination of the maximum value of the complex index corresponding to the selected means.

EFFECT: technical result is wider range of hardware for this purpose.
