SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for working with documents. Multiple records containing content entered into cells specified by pairs of rows and columns are analysed in a document placed in the application service. At least an entry in the first cell is identified as recognizable as an entity which is associated with at least one of a plurality of additional entities external to the document. Identifying, at least, a subset of said plurality of additional entities for presentation in the user interface for the application service for inclusion in additional cells in the document in addition to the first cell. In response to the selection of at least one of said subset of the plurality of additional entities obtained through the user interface, including at least one of a subset of additional entities in said additional cells in a document in association with said record.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of speed of operation with documents.
