FIELD: satisfaction of human vital needs.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for hair dyeing and to hair care appliances and is aimed at reducing labour intensity of hair dyeing process using foil. Method for colouring hair strands involves the following steps: a colouring foil is placed on a plate equipped with permanent magnets, then a layer of a hair dye is applied on the foil, after which a hair strand is selected and, using a comb equipped with permanent magnets, hair strands are made into strands of hair, then, with one hand holding a comb flange near the fleece, with the other hand placing the tablet with foil, with a dye layer applied on it, for the selected strand of hair and the plate is closed, using the interaction of permanent magnets, with comb flange, after that, a strand of hair is laid on a layer of dye pre-deposited on the foil, after which by means of a brush or another method, a dye is applied on a strand of hair from above, then, the connection of the tablet with the comb is opened, the comb and the plate are removed, after which the foil with a strand of hair is folded into an envelope and the cycles of staining with the other strands of hair are repeated. Device for hair colouring contains rectangular tablet and comb. On one of the smaller sides of the plate along its edges there installed is a pair of permanent magnets, besides, in the comb along the edges of its flange there is also installed a pair of permanent magnets, which are made with two-terminal poles with plane-parallel poles and with direction of magnetization perpendicular to planes of poles. Magnetic axis of each of magnets is imaginary straight line perpendicular to planes of magnet poles and passing through geometrical centres of magnet poles. Distance between magnetic axes of magnets installed in comb is equal to distance between magnetic axes of magnets installed in plate.

EFFECT: magnets in the tablet and in the comb are oriented such that maximum force of interaction between magnets installed in the tablet and magnets installed in the comb is provided, when comb flange closing with lateral side of plate, on which magnets are installed, and coincidence of magnetic axes of pair of magnets installed in plate with magnetic axes of pair of magnets installed in comb.
