SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to the field of hairdressing, namely to a method of preparing a strand of hair for colouring, and consists in the fact that a pre-prepared strand of hair is taken from the hair of the head; depending on the type of hair, an attachment is taken for a hair strand separation device, wherein the attachment includes hair strand limiters (A), further, the prepared hair strand is stretched, a nozzle is applied from below the hair strand and short hair is pulled from the hair strand into the nozzle by means of a pulling air flow, in the hand of the master, only long hair is left for applying the dye composition on the hair, which simplifies the process of separating a strand of hair when preparing it for dyeing.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of preparing a strand of hair for colouring.
