FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: container for consumer goods, particularly tobacco, contains a housing containing a box and a cover pivotally attached to the box along the hinged line. Cover comprises front wall. Consumer goods package is located inside the housing and comprises an upper wall protruding from the box and an inner wrapper which is folded around the goods to form a stack so as to form an envelope-folded portion on the upper wall of the package. Envelope-folded part comprises an upper front collar of the inner wrapper extending from the front panel of the wrapper, and an upper back collar of the inner wrapper extending from the back panel of the wrapper. Wraps of the wrapper form a covering. Inner wrapper comprises an outwardly tearable front section that extends from the inner wrapper front panel along the front weakening line and forms a portion of the upper front collar of the inner wrapper. Wrapper also comprises a tear-off rear section which extends from the back panel of the inner wrapper along the rear weakening line and forms a portion of the upper rear wrap band in the overlapping area. Wrapper comprises a back adhesive area of the collar in the area of overlapping for fastening of the front and rear sections with creation of an open collar mechanism in the overlapping area for access to consumer goods. Cuff mechanism is attached to the inner surface of the lid by the front adhesive area so that when the lid is opened it is separated from the inner wrapping along the weakening lines and is pivotally connected to the rest of the wrapper along the hinged line of the cup-type mechanism. Crosswise width of front section tear-out is greater than transverse width of rear section tear-out.

EFFECT: group of inventions prevents engagement of rear section with hole edge in overlapping area and improves access to goods.
