FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed technical solution relates to devices for separating crude oil into oil and gas fractions and can be used in oil and gas industry when preparing oil and gas in fields and in oil and gas refining industry as part of various plants. Oil and gas separator includes a reservoir with an oil and gas mixture feed branch pipe and oil and gas fractions discharge branch pipes. Elements of gas preliminary extraction from oil and gas mixture are installed inside container. Ultrasonic emitters with hemispherical radiating surface are installed in the lower part of the container.
EFFECT: high degree of separation by intensifying the process of extracting gas from an oil and gas mixture by making an acoustic surface of a hemispherical, which allows excluding the effect of screening of upper layers of gas bubbles by the lower layer due to the absence of possibility of occurrence of standing waves during propagation of spherical waves in a viscous oil medium.
