FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of fluids, namely to devices, in particular to gas-liquid separators, and can be used at oil refineries when preparing oil for processing. Gas-liquid separator consists of a housing having an inlet with at least one horizontal perforated branch pipe inside the housing with at least two outlets, note here that, at least, one top part is used for extraction of light fractions and at least one bottom part is used for extraction of heavy liquid fractions. Each perforated branch pipe is plugged on the side opposite to the inlet, and has a branch pipe on top with a gas valve to discharge gas into the upper outlet. Housing is made inclined with communication at the upper point with the upper outlet, and in the lower one — with the lower outlet. Housing is equipped with a horizontal vibration plate installed under the perforated branch pipe. Housing is equipped with a fluid release mechanism communicated with the lower outlet and maintaining the liquid level in the housing below the vibration plate.
EFFECT: proposed gas-liquid separator allows efficient separation of gas-liquid medium into gas and liquid without additional controlled elements and control units, which makes its design reliable and independent.
