FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to concentration of minerals. Method of separating dust particles during enrichment of minerals using a gas separator involves a step of separating particles into fineness. Nanophoresis and microdimensional dust particles are separated by coagulation of hydrophilic particles in a moist gas stream, followed by precipitation of large conglomerates of said particles into a hopper and direction of remaining part of hydrophobic particles into upper branch pipe of separator with subsequent annealing for burning excess hydrophobic component. Firing is performed by means of flame, for example, from gas burner.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of separation of micro- and nanosized particles on their surface properties.
