FIELD: carbon materials.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is a method for producing mesoporous carbon materials, including providing an internal consumable implant, applying carbon to the surface of the internal consumable implant to form a carbon shell, removing the internal consumable implant to produce a mesoporous carbon material, wherein the initial consumable implant with carbon applied thereto is silicon production waste - cyclone dust or bag dust, wherein the internal consumable implant is removed by means of a solid-phase reaction with dry salt, wherein ammonium fluoride or bifluoride is used as salt, at a temperature of 350 to 400° C, the etching products of the template are sublimated, the resulting mesoporous carbon structures are not destroyed.
EFFECT: production of a non-destroyed mesoporous carbon structure wherein carbon has a high degree of porosity, i.e., a large specific surface.
