FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to corrosion-resistant high-strength non-magnetic steels used in shipbuilding, chemical, gas-and-oil production, electrical engineering, geodetic, medical and other industries. Steel contains, wt%: carbon 0.03–0.08, silicon 0.1–0.6, manganese 14.0–16.0, chrome 15.0–17.0, nickel 4.5–5.5, molybdenum 0.35–0.5, copper 0.6–0.8, vanadium 0.6–0.8, nitrogen 0.25–0.4, calcium 0.005–0.01, cerium 0.005–0.01, aluminum 0.005–0.02, barium 0.005–0.01, boron 0.003–0.005, beryllium 0.03–0.05, iron and impurities – the rest.
EFFECT: higher strength, ductility and impact strength of steel, as well as loss of magnetic properties.
