COMBINED VECTOR RECEIVER Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01S15/02

Abstract RU 2696812 C1

FIELD: hydro acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydro acoustics, specifically to design of receivers for performing vector-scalar measurements of parameters of hydroacoustic ocean fields. Receiver comprises sealed housing with inertial mass located in centre, electronic system for generating signals proportional to acoustic pressure and three projections of oscillatory acceleration vector, and three measuring channels, each of which consists of two sensitive elements made on the basis of piezoceramics and installed towards each other along axes of orthogonal coordinate system. Housing is provided with blind holes made on outer side of housing opposite each sensitive element and equipped with sealed piston, the bottom of which rests on the bottom of the hole, on which the end of the sensitive element rests on the other side, the second end of which rests on the inertial mass.

EFFECT: high sensitivity of the receiver and improved shape of the directional characteristic.
