COMBINED HYDROACOUSTIC RECEIVER Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01S15/02

Abstract RU 2825562 C1

FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and hydrophysics and is intended for measuring parameters of hydroacoustic fields of the ocean. Combined hydroacoustic receiver consists of two units connected by cables. First, electronic unit, includes a three-channel amplifier with differential inputs and a summing single-channel amplifier with four inputs, a recording system and a power supply system. Second, receiving unit, is made in the form of a spherical structure containing a frame with four hydrophones placed on it. In the frame there is a hollow non-tight spherical housing with holes for water inflow, in the centre of which there is a tight cavity filled with air. Cavity is fixed in the housing by rods, coaxially to which on the housing surface six permanent magnets of cylindrical shape with axial magnetisation are fixed, which enter with a gap into holes of annular magnets with axial magnetisation, fixed on the frame, forming a housing stabilization system. Frame is made from a non-magnetic material with high density. Housing, sealed cavity and rods are made of non-magnetic material with low density. Acoustic oscillations receiving system includes three vector channels measuring oscillatory velocity vector components, formed by six electric coils orthogonally fixed on the frame, which are connected to differential inputs of a three-channel amplifier and a scalar pressure channel formed by hydrophones connected to a summing single-channel amplifier.

EFFECT: amplitude-frequency characteristic of the receiver, which does not depend on frequency in the operating frequency range, providing high sensitivity in the low-frequency region and absence of resonance in the high-frequency region of the operating frequency range.
