FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rotary sealed coupling for connection of branch pipes 1, 2, comprising a coupling consisting of sleeves 3, 4 with inner ledges 5, 6, respectively, on edges. Ledges 5, 6 cover the connected branch pipes 1, 2 with their support surfaces. O-rings 8, 9 from elastic plastic are arranged along edges of inner groove of coupling formed between said ledges 5, 6 of sleeves 3, 4. Compression spring 7 is arranged between o-rings 8, 9. Support surfaces of shoulder ledges 5, 6 facing branch pipes 1, 2 are provided with edge contact surface, at the same time ledges 5, 6 are made at the edges diverging outside from internal groove of the coupling. Rings 8, 9 have wedge-shaped cross-section with support surface for formation of edge contact surface inside each of said ledges. Rings 8, 9 are made each with conical and with flat end surfaces, which are supported on one side by end surface on end surface of corresponding ledge 5, 6, and located end surface on the other side under action of spring 7, installed between rings 8, 9 with the possibility of formation on each of them of the radial component of the compression force along the edge contact surface on branch pipes 1, 2. In particular cases of implementation, ledges 5, 6 of coupling each have a conical end surface on the side of interaction with sealing ring 8, 9, each of which is supported by its conical end surface on end surface of ledge 5, 6, and flat surfaces of O-rings 8, 9 are directly spring-loaded by spring 7 or flat surfaces of O-rings 8, 9 are spring-loaded by spring 7 through additionally installed steel rigid ring 10. Preferably, O-rings 8, 9 or insert 12 are made of antifriction plastic.

EFFECT: when using the invention, the design and technology of the connection of the branch pipes are simplified while ensuring reliable tightness of the connection, including in the presence of misalignment and / or skewing of the pipes.
