FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cold-heat testing apparatus and is intended for testing large-size articles when exposed to air flows with rapidly varying temperature. Proposed plant comprises air heating and cooling systems with temperature controllers and air temperature sensors, chamber to house test object with fan and sensors of temperature parameters of tested object. At that, heating and cooling systems are located outside the chamber, in separate cases with windows for air intake and outlet with preset temperature. Chamber is made in the form of a cylindrical shell with attachment units of the tested object, which provide axisymmetric location in the chamber of the tested object. One butt end of the cylindrical chamber is open, and on the other one there is an inlet fan providing for air suction inside the shell, its passage along the test object and blowout from the chamber. Chamber is arranged on movable trolley with electric drive controlled remotely and providing during its motion of chamber its full or partial docking with open end with outlet opening of heating system. Cooling system is equipped with a flexible air duct connected to the remotely controlled electric drive ensuring the air duct branch pipe connection or detachment with the chamber open end. Air heating and cooling systems have air generation capacity with preset temperature identical to that of exhaust system of chamber.

EFFECT: elimination of influence of thermal state of test object on air medium acting on it, which provides accuracy of action on the test object of cold or hot air with a given temperature according to the required time law even under conditions of multiple temperature changes during one or several cycles, which in the final stage increases accuracy of tests.
