METHOD OF ASSEMBLING SPLIT COLLAR ON CONTINUOUS PIPELINE OF TRANSITION AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F16L7/02

Abstract RU 2697084 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to construction and repair of pipelines and can be used for assembling a rubber split collar on a continuous pipeline. Device comprises a device for compression when glued to each other male and female elements of collar connector. Said compression means includes a compacting plate, on the outer side of which there are seats in the form of projections and / or recesses for thrust screws mounted on a crossarm with the possibility of moving them up and down to create preset pressure by inner side of pre-pressing plate on glued connector of collar at its location between two rods. Rods are mounted along normal to surface of pipeline by means of clamps-ties with rubber gaskets. Cross beam is fixed on said bars. Connector of final sealing cup is arranged on upper part of continuous pipeline between two mounted rods, said collar is fitted by inner side of the compacting plate and thrusts interacting with the seats to force the glued surfaces of the collar detachment elements. Simultaneously pressure is controlled by means of torque measurement of thrust propellers by preset magnitude. At the moment of gluing the collar connector, pre-pressing is performed by increasing the tightening torque of the weakened thrust propellers.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides required quality of glued connector of collar, tightness of annular space and higher reliability of pipeline transition.
