FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas turbine engines and, in particular, to the gas turbine engine ignition system operating on gaseous fuel or on several types of fuel, one of which is gaseous. Ignition device for ignition of combustion chamber of gas-turbine engine contains glow plug supplied from electric power source installed inside combustion chamber. Glow plug is located in combustion chamber burner cavity, wherein open end of cavity communicates with combustion chamber recirculation zone. Cavity of combustion chamber has thermal protective coating, or ceramic insert, or several ceramic inserts with different coefficients of heat conductivity. Power supply circuit of glow plug is equipped with current control device to determine moment of ignition of fuel-and-air mixture. On open end of cavity there is at least one partition with passage area limiting mass exchange in cavity. Cavity of combustion chamber includes several partitions for formation of volumes with provision of staged ignition.
EFFECT: proposed ignition device of combustion chamber of gas turbine engine increases efficiency of ignition of combustion chamber due to creation of local small volume of fuel-air mixture around glow plug with reduced heat and mass change with environment.
