SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of engineering, in particular to electric bicycles. Electric bicycle comprises an engine, a controller and a heart rate monitor. Heart rate monitor is programmed to report a heartbeat signal representing the heartbeat of the user. Controller is programmed to receive distance to electric bicycle destination relative to preset destination. Controller is programmed to provide an instruction to increase power for the engine during the end section of the trip to a given destination based on the heart rate signal and the distance to the destination. Electric bicycle engine power control system comprises a computing device having a processor and a storage device.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption of user during operation of bicycle.
