SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine building, particularly to foldable bicycle steering mechanisms. In compliance with first version, foldable bicycle steering mechanism comprises base, first and second steering brackets and locking mechanism. Base is made with possibility of interaction with rudder carry-over. First steering bracket is pivotally connected to the base. Second steering bracket is connected with the possibility of rotation to the base around the common one with the first steering bracket of the kingpin. Locking mechanism is connected to the base and fixes the steering brackets relative to the base with the possibility of rotation. In compliance with second version, foldable bicycle steering mechanism comprises steering tube, rudder support, base, first and second steering brackets and locking mechanism. Rudder can turn to steering tube. Base interacts with the rudder carry-over. First steering bracket is configured to support first handle of bicycle handlebars. Second steering bracket is configured to support the second handlebar of the bicycle.

EFFECT: increased compactness of the bicycle.
