SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a microbial preparation for recycling hydrocarbon contaminants in an aqueous medium at temperature from +20 to -2.5 °C, salinity 30±10 g/l. Preparation contains not less than 10⁶ CFU per 1 ml of suspension or 1 g of dry biomass powder of psychoactive microorganisms: strain Psychrobacter cibarius ARC 35 VKPM V-13081, strain Pseudomonas extremaustralis ARC 38 VKPM V-13084, strain Yarrowia lipolytica ARC 48 VKPM Y-4347 in ratio 1:1:1.

EFFECT: invention provides effective cleaning of water areas of water bodies and shoreline from oil and oil products in conditions of low temperatures and high salinity of water.
