FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: marine gas turbine system comprises a floating structure with at least one deck (25) and base plate (31) installed on the deck. Base plate supports gas turbine engine (1) comprising low pressure compressor, high pressure compressor, combustion chamber, high pressure turbine, medium pressure turbine and low pressure turbine. Low pressure compressor is driven into rotation by the medium pressure turbine, and the high pressure compressor is driven into rotation by the high pressure turbine. Low pressure turbine contains loading connection. System also comprises actuated device (57, 59), mechanically connected to load connection (21) of low pressure turbine. Between the low pressure compressor and the high pressure compressor there is intermediate cooler (19) connected to them by means of connections resistant to displacement. Base plate (31) rests on deck (25) separately from intermediate cooler (19). Due to this it is possible to install gas turbine engine on base plate on upper deck and location of intermediate cooler on separate support structure on other deck, for example on lower deck located under deck, on which base plate and gas turbine engine are located.

EFFECT: thus, the disclosed system reduces the overall size and surface area of the gas turbine plant.
