FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication, particularly to communication in an ad hoc network. Invention comprises a mobile communication coordinating device, called a coordinating device, and a plurality of slave mobile communication devices, called slave devices, wherein each communication device comprises a wireless communication module and a positioning module, using transmission of the first pulses, modulated in compliance with the first ultra-wideband modulation, for determination of information representing the position of the above communication device. Method comprises, when it is implemented by a communication device, steps of: obtaining (61) data to be transmitted; checking (62) possibility of transmitting a wireless communication module; when wireless communication module does not allow data transmission, positioning module (65) is used to transmit said data in form of second pulses orthogonal to first pulses.
EFFECT: invention is intended to provide communication at a large distance.
