FIELD: blasting operations; chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixed explosive compositions used mainly in opencast open surface as well charges for destruction of rocks and extraction of minerals. Explosive compound mixture is obtained by adding into explosives composition of Polymix GR1-KZHU, Aquamix 2V or Ammonite 6ZhV grade of one or more inert additives, such as one or more inert substances with density higher than average density of explosive, at a ratio, wt%: solid inert additive – 5.0–20, explosive – the rest. Particle size of the inert additive ranges from 1.5 mm to 5 mm. As a solid inert substance there used is igneous rock or wastes of technological processes of construction open pits or other production, for example, production of ferroalloys.

EFFECT: charges of such composition are characterized by high efficiency of destructive action of explosion and reduced cost of blasting operations due to intensification of process of energy release as a result of reflection of detonation wave from inert additive introduced into composition of explosive.
