SUBSTANCE: methods and devices for blasting operations. Invention can be used in the mining industry, as well as in other industries for blasting. The device for creating gaps in blast holes contains a downhole gate, a support, a stand in the form of a pipe, and a flexible suspension. The device for creating a gap, blocking the overdrill in blast holes, contains a downhole gate and a rack in the form of a pipe with a support. Inside the pipe in the devices there is a dynamic swirler in the form of a spiral plate made of fusible material with a thickness of 0.15–1 mm, installed with the possibility of its rotation. The method for increasing the efficiency of blasting downhole explosive charges includes installing a device in the well to create gaps in the downhole explosive charge and loading the explosive. Then, an aerodynamic swirling force of flows generated at the moment of explosion is created using a dynamic swirler of a device for creating gaps in blastholes or a device for creating a gap that overlaps the overdrill in blastholes.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the detonation of the borehole charge by providing a higher degree of detonation of the secondary products of the explosive explosion.
