SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to optical surveying. Method of forming a panoramic image, realized using a multi-camera panoramic camera system, includes: providing a panoramic survey system having a plurality of separate survey systems arranged in a serial array. Each of the separate survey systems has an optical axis and a field of view. Limiting the plurality of central beams which extend along the field of view edge of each of the individual survey systems at different beam heights relative to the optical axis such that they are substantially parallel to the other plurality of central beams which extend along the adjacent field of view field directly adjacent to one of the systems shooting, so that it seems that all central beams in field of view converge to common point when viewed from object space. Field of view of each of the plurality of separate survey systems is combined with the field of view directly adjacent to one of the individual survey systems, but does not overlap it.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of panoramic shooting system and related method, in which there is no parallax and in which parallax is eliminated optically.
