SUBSTANCE: invention relates to household electrical engineering, particularly, to manual vacuum cleaners. Disclosed is a battery-operated vacuum cleaner comprising a handle (H) having a lower end, a battery (B) having an end which is located near the lower end of the handle (H), dust separation system (DMS) connected to air inlet (N) containing contaminants and an air flow generator (AG) for generating an air flow in the dust separation system (DMS), wherein air flow generator (AG) is located next to battery (B) and lower end of handle (H). Preferably, the battery (B) is located between the handle (H) and the dust separation system (DMS). Preferably, the battery (B) has the first side next to the airflow generator (AG) and the second side next to the dust separation system (DMS).
EFFECT: improved ergonomic properties.
