FIELD: household appliances.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner comprises a dirt inlet and a motor and a fan for creating suction in the dirt inlet. For separation of particles from the suction flow a cyclone unit is used, which contains a vortex trap passing along the axis of rotation of the cyclone, and an annular chamber formed around the outer part of the vortex trap. Air is fed into the cyclone unit in the forward direction. Cyclone axis of rotation is parallel or almost parallel to this forward direction. Discharge from the vortex trap is performed at its rear end so that discharge from the vortex trap is performed in the direction opposite to the direct component. This means that the space outside the vortex trap can be used as part of the area for collecting dirt, and this enables more efficient collection of hair and other debris.
EFFECT: obtaining a structure less susceptible to clogging with hair and other debris in order to reduce requirements for cleaning the cyclone unit.
